2. Women’s Tehillim will be at 6 PM shabbos afternoon at YIH for the continued protection of our brothers and sisters in Israel, for peace, and for the geula sheleima.

  Under the leadership of Community Board 8 Chairperson, Martha Taylor, our office has been working on the preparations for Passover again this year. As in the past, the Department of Sanitation will provide the special garbage collection before Passover. Please  inform the members of your congregation to place their items out the night before Passover [March 31, 2026] for the special garbage collection.

The following houses of worships that participated in having the chometz burning stations will be provided with the same service on April 1st. A large sanitation garbage bin and two metal cans for burning the chometz will be placed at each location below:

1. In front of the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills located at 70-11 150th Street.
2. In front of the Young Israel of Jamaica Estates located at 83-10 188th Street.
3. In front of the Young Israel of Queens Valley located at 141-55 77th Avenue, near the parking lot.
4. In front of the Young Israel of Holliswood located at 86-25 Francis Lewis Boulevard.
5. In front of the Congregation Charm Circle at 72-31 Park Drive East.
6. In front of the Kehilat Sephardim located at 150-62 78th Road.  

The Rabbi Zev Shostak ZT"L Chevra Daf Yomi of Hillcrest invites the entire Hillcrest community to join us for a Siyum to celebrate the conclusion of Maseches Menachos  which will be held B'Ezras Hashem on Thursday evening 13 Iyar 5786 , April 30, 2026  at 7PM at Yeshiva Madreigas HaAdom 165-14 69th Ave Hillcrest. Harav Moshe Faskowitz will give the introductory remarks and will serve as the Mesayem The Siyum will be accompanied by a Seudas Mitzvah at the Yeshiva.  Maariv will immediately follow.
